ObjectDock icon text jumping around

cannot now get text to align to icon

I've used ObjectDock for many years and I love it. I have used it successfully with Windows 10. But my problem now is that when hovering over the dock icons, the text doesn't display properly for them, but jumps from one to the next randomly. I never know which icon refers to which program, which is annoying. Even if I hover the mouse over them, they don't display correctly.

This problem refers mostly to the tabbed dock, not the quick-launch one. I have both on my desktop.

I'm not sure which version or update to Windows10 I have, because I just reinstalled to a new laptop. Windows did do a big update, so I assume it's installed the latest one.

Can anyone help, or is there just so much incompatibility that I have to give up using it?

ObjectDock is not supported on Windows 10. While it does work, there may be small issues on Windows 10.

I seem to have solved it, although unintentionally.

Others might like to know how: I had my windows graphics settings on 125% and for a different reason I set them back to 100%. Lo and behold, knock-on effect was the icon text appeared correctly.

But stranger still, I decided to change the settings back (couldn't read the tiny writing) and decided on 200% this time. However, despite that, the tabbed icon text STILL appeared correctly underneath each icon.

So. Problem solved (but no idea why!)
