Deskscapes 8.51 causing video glitching in Kodi

I experienced video video glitches about every 15 seconds when viewing video full screen in Kodi v17 or v18 nightly. If I manually pause Deskscapes before running Kodi, the video is silky smooth.

 

Is there a way to automate the starting/stopping of Deskscapes?

 

I start Kodi with an IR remote control and then have to get up and go to monitor #1 in another room to use mouse and start/stop it currently. Kodi has an option to execute a .bat file or .exe on startup.

 

It would be nice if Deskscapes could create a blacklist that could be user editable or at the very least, provide a command line switch that could toggle it on and off from a .bat file.

 

If Deskscapes could detect "kodi.exe" running in full screen mode and stop until the program terminates, that would be the absolute best solution.

Hello,

 It has been stated that the Kodi programming  has some bugs and that some parts may not work

properly in Windows and they are working with Microsoft for fixes , so until then seems your

problem is with the Kodi programming not Deskscapes.
