Can you set a default page for Fences?

First post:   I've used Fences for a long time and really like it.   Using Windows 10.  But I have three "pages" (screens) of Fences.   Is there a way to make it go to what I want as the default screen when I boot-up my computer?

Thanks in advance

I posted that in April and now it's June.   Another option would be for it to start with a "blank screen" with only the recycle bin.

I go to a lot of business meetings with different suppliers and some of the information on my desktop is confidential with other suppliers names,  etc.   To boot to a specific screen or a blank screen would be very useful ... and I think to others as well.

Hope to get an answer soon.  Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just to understand you better, when you said you have 3 pages of fences (screens) you mean 3 monitors or 3 Fences desktop pages?

Sorry ... I should have made that more specific:   The answer is 3 Fences desktop pages, not 3 monitors.

The "default" meaning the one it always boots to is the one to the far right of the three Fences pages. I cannot not swipe it more from the default page "right to left" or the blank screen I see "bounces back" to the default screen.

I can swipe it from left to right for the two additional pages but if I shut my computer down, it always reboots at the above "default" page.

The most useful scenario would be for me to be able to pick which of the 3 desktop pages I prefer it to show on boot-up.

Another less desirable solution would be for it to boot to a blank page (with a recycle bin only) and then I pick which desktop page I want to go to.   Hope this is more clear now.   Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the clarification. For my setup. I have 3 Fences desktop pages. One in the middle where my default page where every time I log on it will be that desktop. And Another 2, 1 on the left to the default and another one to the right. On my left desktop is all my Audio video things. And to my right desktop is my games. And for my default, middle page, is my work desktop. So every time I boot or login it will be to my work desktop. But all my fences is hidden by default when I login. I need to double click on the desktop to make my fences appear or disappear.

And if I want to swap desktop I just need to use alt-left or right key to do it.

I think you can setup something similar to mine to help solve your problem.

Hi basj,

Just tried what you suggested and it works!   Mine's a bit different from yours so I'll have to rearrange my Fences somewhat but as soon as I do that, mission accomplished!

Thanks so very much for your help!
