Documents folder shortcut not showing contents

Hi guys, I have had this problem for a while now and it is still happening after my recent reinstall of windows 10. The Document folder shortcut on the left side of my Start 10 menu does not show the contents of that folder, saying 'this folder is empty'.

I have tried changing the properties and adding the Documents folder manually and after doing this the contents will show up momentarily and then disappear.

BTW my Documents folder is on my D drive if that helps.

Hello,

How you add the documents folder? Drag and drop into Start10?

You mentioned on the left side..? The Default one is on the right side.

You can right click on that documents icon and choose properties.. On the documents properties set the library location to the correct document folder you wish it to link to. You can add or remove folders from there.

Try that. and let us know if that solve it.

Did you add that documents folder in D:\. Sometimes windows don't like document folder in other than C:\ Drive. Need to manually add that link to that actual folder. BTW, out of curiosity, that document icon open as a menu or open an Windows explorer to that folder?

But if you have done that and still it won't show up..

I suggest you do the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

I always move the four folders Pictures, Documents, Music and Videos to my D drive. The other folders all show the correct contents. I have it opening as a link to that folder. The only difference with the Docs folder is that it is linked into my OneDrive syncing. Will try reinstall.
