ok, Herbie the bookworm has been closed in a book. the book is one of a set of encyclopedias on a shelf, 1-10 in order. if Herbie starts eating from page 1 of volume 1 and eats his way to the last page of volume 10. How far has he traveled (he travels the shortest path)?

each Volume is 2.5 inches thick and each cover is .25 inches thick.

I answered 7 on page 3.

1001=AN = 1001 Arabian Nights (Knights?) didn't read it.
88=PK = 88 Piano Keys.

Q 88 is 24.5 inches (page 1 to the last page (2.5x10-2x.25))
