Kudos to MikeB314!!!

I finally took an in depth look at one of my most beloved and used skins which was "Grayce" and found out it was by MikeB who has done some amazing skins like "colony" too!

It's amazing the work and art that touches your life as just a customer/downloader that you never really fully realize the humanity behind it until you get involved here as an active member...

There are of course, so many great skinners here but I just had to tip my hat to someone who I never realized was the author of one of my all time favorite skins!

Colony was actually the first skin I applied to my system when I installed WB and got my first "oohs" and "ahhs" and still does. I didnt know it was by him

There's something about Grayce that is so pleasing. It's a really understated neutral skin that's nonetheless stylish. Maybe it's the Sigma3-ish title bar. I don't know, but I really love it.

Chris, I can't agree more with you! Grayce was sophisticated, classy and very, VERY usable! Funny thing is...with my flashy, garish new skins I bet nobody woulda guessed Grayce was one of my all time favorites! ! But alas, I must admit...I used Grayce probably longer than any skin I can think of!

I'm addicted to color (admittedly) but it was the way he put the whole skin together that made it just so perfect and yes "understated" and gray to me wasn't depressing at all but really lovely the way he made it!

It's just so odd to know that for quite a while that was the ONLY skin I used pretty much until I started making my own skins (yeah, I have a longggggg way to go) but it's inspirational to now be able to look at something in depth and appreciate it that much more for what it is...PERFECT in my eyes!

I agree wholeheartedly.

Mike is not only one of the most gifted skinners online. He is also one hell of a nice guy. Always helpful and very generous.
