Fences / Cannot delete or rename Copied File

Good morning,

 

When i copy a folder template (Blank with subfolders created) to another fence, it locks me from renaming it.  I can't delete it or do anything unless i reboot.

 

Any thoughts?

Do you have the latest version of Fences running https://forums.wincustomize.com/487248/fences-v308-now-available

If not purge old version and re install newest version https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Fences is NOT locked as I can copy from original fence to another.  After Copy, rename fails with RETRY Message.

If I am understanding your issues at all, that could be the case if any file within the folder is open.

If that is not the case, or I do not understand the issue, please post a video of it if possible.

I think it because the folder is lock by some other apps like antivirus or something similar to that... you can try unlock that folder by using something like unlocker http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml

Personally, I use it a lot, specially when I need to disconnect external drive or rename some folders.
