Acoustic Bridge not outputting sound

ok, I've connected the software on 2 windows 10 pcs.

1. desktop

2. laptop

when I try to route sound from 2 to 1 I've got no sound but when route from 1 to 2 I get sound.

so the desktop has a problem. its windows 10 pro latest build and Realtek speaker driver.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

just an update. Updated the drivers on the windows atom tablets and sound was coming through (briefly). Now the only time it is passed through is when I quickly unmute on the tablets. it's the exact same problem on both atom tablets. Has anyone fixed this issue?

Submitted my logs to support but not heard anything since.

Unfortunately some tablets with atom cpus disable the audio hardware when the audio is muted  This prevents capture of the audio without it also playing out the local speakers.  I am unsure if this is a hardware level limitation on those atom tablets, or if it is a software level bug in the drivers.

Similar problem. If the sound is mute on the laptop, I cannot hear anything on my desktop computer. I have to install a software called Virtual Audio Cable to create a virtual speaker to bypass this issue.
