Screenshot from KVM overlaid over RDP session

I've been working with multiplicity for a long while, and am very happy with it.  But I'm having a problem that may make me abandon it.

I'm working with two computers.  The primary is running Windows 7, and the secondary is running windows 8.1.  I have the KVM turned off; I'm just using it to share the mouse/keyboard between the two.

I also connect to this remotely via RDP (juniper client)

Over RDP, sometimes a non-functional image is overlaid over the desktop.  The resolution of my RDP session is smaller than the resolution of the desktop.  So I have a portion of the desktop remaining; the difference between the RDP resolution and the native resolution.  I tried turning off the KVM setting to send back to the primary a screenshot of the desktop, but that didn't help.  I also turned off the KVM functionality totally.  That also didn't help.  The only thing that helps is unloading multiplicity on the secondary.   I suppose I could unload multiplicity when I'm not going to be in the office, and run it again when I am, but that's less than optimal, as I don't always know when I'll be working from home.

On both machines, I'm using KVM Pro 3.43 Build 00082

Any way I can correct this?
