from Stardock Forums

Whenever i move any program into a fence or do anything on the desktop, i get the Error: an attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format 0x8007000b.

Any ideas?

Also, make sure you download the latest version from your account. Reinstall it and reboot.

A friend of mine had this program and this problem as well. We fixed it by finding the exe:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Stardock/Fences/Fences.exe

Right clicked and went into properties, and under the Compatibility tab turned on compatibility mode for Windows 8. After the next restart the error went away. 

Edit: They were using Windows 10.
