Permissions.txt

Dear Uploader ,

Thank you for your recent upload of your "Thingie" for Logons.
Unfortunately your upload has not met our guidelines and has been rejected. I read the included 'copyright' text.
The fact of the matter is...no answer means 'no', just as 'no' means 'no'.
The ONLY time you can post a work is when there is a 'yes'.
Permission included means exactly that, not 'he didn't respond so it must be OK and if it isn't he can tell me and I will tell you to remove it'.
Permission first, upload second....
However we do look forward to your future submissions.

Sincerely,
The WinCustomize Staff

The above is a not uncommon 'rejection' email...particularly with Logons, where 'someone's' wall, or other image is used to create the Logon.

Remember that there is a correct order to do things...
1. Seek permission.
2. Abide by response.
3. If yes, go to 6.
4. Do NOT upload.
5. Goto End.
6. Include a Permission.txt file with work.
7. Upload.
End.

Your "correct order" should be set in stone as one of the ten commandments Paul

I thought rejection letters were not sent out anymore, does that apply only to wallpapers?

No, JM...on occasion a letter will be sent to emphasise the cause...in this case it was a Logon...which is effectively a wall...[plus bits]...
