everything vanished, just like magic

This morning, while I was working on something more important than fences I saw a popup about icons.  I ignored it and fences with all my icons disappeared.

I tried to reinstall fences but it just wont reinstall.  I uninstalled, rebooted and tried to reinstall but it wont reinstall.

The fences xmls are in AppData and I was hoping it just use what I dat already defined.

Product looks nice but it doesn't seem to stable.

At least I haven't paid for a licence.

Otherwise, you would need to be more specific about what OS you are using, what version of Fences, etc.

win 10 all updates installed.

since fences wont install, the knowledge base info doesn't apply.

If I have to delete the fences data from the apps folder to get the install to work, it's just not worth the effort.

Sounds a lot like quick hide to me.

 

If you double clicked the desktop, your icons will hide, and show a message about icons.
