Why do you need a boot screen anyway? My pc only gets re-booted once in a blue moon. Now, if you're using W98...hahaha

And I also encountered that if you add a boot screen. Sometimes you can't even install updates for your OS. Just like Fuzzy said, I only reboot when I really really really have to. If I push my system just way too far and it wants to crash.

O' and I demand a bigger and faster computer with a T3 connection at least

sheesh.. forget logon screens.. one day a system will be made to customize them more safely (if of course the demand is high enough).... but until then I plan on letting my system run like it should... tho windowblinds occasionally needs to be restarted.. its still a wonderful visual toy

Boot screens, not gonna happen. Too much of a potential support burden. ThemeXP has tons of them though so you can get them there.

actually I am running the software to change your boot screen on XP, not bad, no adverse affects whatsoever... but it does hack system DLL's, that's how it works, so wincustomize, can't and won't have a section for it. but you can check out themexp for it... they have all kinds of things of the sort, that's where I got it from
