Bugs with Fences 3.0

Hello,

Windows 7 Enterprise SP1

1/ Problem with the feature "Desktop quick-hide"

When this feature is enabled the use of the escape key (on the desktop), hide/show the icons and fences.
=> This result is not expected (escape key to hide/show) and creates problems... (see below)

2/ Problem with the "escape key" and "Desktop quick-hide" enabled

When a fence is docked at the top edge of screen, If I click (select) an icon inside, then after, on the desktop I make a new folder or document and I immediately use the escape key, the icon that was selected in the fence before is moved out of the fence!

3/ Problem Docking a fence at the bottom edge of screen
Impossible to dock a fence at the bottom edge of screen, the fence disappears behind the taskbar, and to see it again it is necessary to close/open the system session.

Please Stardock test seriously your software before publishing, I just use it 5 minutes to find these bugs...

Starting with #3: Are you doing something different than what I am doing in this video?  http://screencast.com/t/ayBiSOMx

#2 - I reproduced this.  Thanks for the report, I'll notify the dev team.

#1 - Thanks for pointing this out.  I'll look into it.

About #3 : I did exactly as in your video, but my fence is not docked like yours and I can move it completely behind the taskbar!

About #1 : could you reproduce the problem?, just click anywhere on the desktop to give the focus, after that, the "escape key" works like the double-click!, it is not espected...

#1 We are looking into it.

#3 try moving the fence slower to the edge. Do not goto the edge of the monitor, just the taskbar. Try moving the taskbar to the top and then dock on the bottom.

#3 : Moving the fence slower until its bottom touch the taskbar is working, the fence is docked at the top of the taskbar, but if I move faster, the fence is moved behind the taskbar and not docked...

Now, if I move a fence at the top edge of screen, the fence is docked correctly, then now, if i move this fence (even quickly) at the bottom of the screen, the fence is stopped at the taskbar and docked correctly at the top of the taskbar, I cannot move the fence behind the taskbar...

=> this is the expected running...

Once docked at the taskbar, I can move this fence behind!

I am sorry that I am not sure I understand.  Everything is good now?

Because of my bad english...

To answer your question :

Yes and No!

To understand me, please make a new fence and just try to hide this fence behind the taskbar (until the bottom edge of the monitor) can you?

About me, I can, and of course in that situation the fence is not docked at the taskbar..., but if i move the fence carefully (slowly) I can dock the fence at the taskbar, so ok it is good, because in final, it is that I want.

Now, I just noticed, if a fence is docked at the top edge of screen, and then, I move this fence (not carefully, quickly) at the bottom of the screen, I absolutely cannot hide the fence behind the taskbar, so in that situation I can dock easily at the taskbar with no precaution.

=> this is the expected running...

is it more clear?

I'd just like to be able to disable the Escape to hide option. I don't mind double clicking on the desktop to hide my fences, but I really don't like single key bound macros.

Are there any updates on this? I am also interested in this. For now to get around the Escape key issue I have disabled the "hide" function.

It is still on a short list of possible updates.  No decisions have been made yet.
