Chrome is skinned fully here on Win10. I've had no crashes and the only thing I've noticed is that Chrome refreshes itself still. But that's a site issue.

Have you tried Application Shortcuts in Chrome? Thats whats causing my crash. Also is your chrome x64? Just trying to narrow it down.

Also...I just had to set Notepad to ignore? Can't skin Notepad?

Yes my Chrome is 64 and all windows, programs etc are skinned. Application shortcuts work also. No problems here.

I imagine something else running is causing a conflict if you are excluding Notepad and Paint.

What kind of anti virus are you using?

Can only say about the WB. As far as has been reported all 7 and 8 WB's work on win10.

re: Chrome - If you have a Custom Theme installed within Chrome itself, it seems to disable Chrome skinning with WindowBlinds.  This is not a problem as I see it, since I can just disable the theme (using the Extensions Manager aka Switcher extension) and then Windowblinds skinning works just fine so far.  I'm using the latest x64 dev build of Chrome for testing.

Yes for the most part.

right-clicking on desktop or taskbar the text in the pop up is hard to read and a slight alignment in open apps on taskbar.

Yes I'm aware of that. But for the problems that exist there is nothing a skinner can do.

Yes- No

What about that right clicking issue.  Can that be fixed?

The right click on desktop text pop up hard to read is not on every windowblind skin. I'm sure the skinner can fix it. Doesn't make the skin unuseable.

It is not unuseable.  It is extremely annoying, in my humble opinion.

Right click menus in explorer are easy to fix as long as you have configured your skin well.  Then they will be readable.

Well, can you explain that to the author please.  Or can you help point me in the right direction so I can do it.  Thanks!

The text colours should come from the usual menu sections and likewise the mouseover image.  The only thing that's different is the menu background which will be using the systemwide Menu Background System colour.  Set this to a colour like the usual menu background image and you should be good.

So they won't be skinned any more ??

-And what about the explorer backgrounds ?

It says in Windowblinds 10 advanced settings that you're supposed to get them checking that checkbox so... :\

-Just want to give people value for money if they're buying a skin from me. :sun:

No idea why Firefox suddenly had a problem but I can always use it again.  It is still installed on my computer.  I will give a vacation for a few days and see if it's happy again.  I updated a couple of drivers so that may solve the problem.

So far, I haven't had a problem with skins running.  Everything seems to be working just fine

I had to change a couple of backgrounds using WB10 and now they are very easy to read.  They did look weird at first though.

Yes, I did purchase.  Why don't you fix it or why don't you have the author fix it.  I'm not sure he knows how to fix it.

TheDude23112, this is an issue specific to a particular skin and nothing to do directly with the WB10 Beta.  You would be best served to add a simple comment on the skin in question to alert the Author for a fix.

Please reserve this thread for WB-10 specific Beta issues...;)
