Sleep mode kills Deskscapes

New Windows 10 install with latest updates.  Starting/restarting computer is fine.  Waking from sleep results in a black desktop, requiring reconfiguring Deskscapes 8.5.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted and tried both the KLite and Shark codec packs. Deskscapes works perfectly in every case except when waking from sleep.  Can anyone offer advice?   Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem after it goes into Lock/Monitor Sleep Mode.

 

Although, it starts back after force stopping "DSHost Application.exe" in Task Manager. When stopping that application, it forces it to restart and the animation starts back.

They still haven't fixed this.

 

The issue appears to be with the "DSHost Application" stalling.  Bringing up task manager and killing it seems to get the background back.
