Multiplicity 2.0 won't run on fresh Windows 10 installation

As the title suggests, I installed Multiplicity 2.0 on my primary PC (fresh install not an upgrade) and when I double click Multiplicity from the program manager I get the blue loading circle for a couple of seconds and then it goes away but Multiplicity does not load.

It isn't minimizing to the launchpad and there's no sign of it in the process list in Task Manager either. It just seems to be trying to run and aborting. Attempting to run it as administrator yields the same behavior.

Any ideas ?

You are lucky,

I cannot get MP installed via the object desktop manager, it just hangs on install for ages.

Will retry standalone install soon, just too many reboots for stardock in one day for me.

I was running MP on win 8.1 just fine then went to Win 10.  MP won't work and no error message.

EdgeRunner says MP is compatible with 10 but I spoke with MS tier 2 support and since there is
no error message they seem to think the program is not compatible.

Oh yeh, this is a fresh installation - the computer was reformatted to avoid such issues.

I sent  ticket in several days ago with no answer. Wondering what kind of support this company
has. Would be nice to have the program running as advertised.

Thanks for any assistance.

Microsoft Tier 2 support should really do their homework!

Multiplicity 3 is compatible with Windows 10.  One thing that could be an issue is the .net framework as part of MP uses it and if that were to fail (a MS issue...) then the software would be failing silently to open the configuration screen.

What is your ticket id.  I know support have a few people out this week so it may be taking slightly longer than usual to reply.

I've got Multiplicity 2 going under Windows 10 now after downloading a fresh copy from the Downloads section.

However, when I tried applying my serial# from the 'I have a serial number' section of the 'Upgrade' link, I'm getting a 'That serial# is in use on another account' message.

Thoughts ?
