Semi-transparent explorer windows

Here's a quote from Stardock.com:

"A popular feature that isn't discussed as often now is the ability to make explorer backgrounds semi-transparent (Hyperpaint must be disabled for this to work fully)."

I tried this and was not able to make the backgrounds trasparent in any way. I checked the 'Make Explorer backgrounds "semi-sransparent"'-button and turned off Hyperpaint, yet my backgrounds are not transparent. I have the full version 3.5 of Windowblinds. Do I need a Windowblinds theme that supports transparancy to use this feature?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

In the Windowblinds configuration window on the "settings" tab click
on "advanced" and put a check in the box "Make Explorer backgrounds
semi-transparent". You also need to set your folder options to "use
Windows classic folders" from the folder options dialog. ("Tools/Folder
Options" on an explorer window's menu.)
For more color options (the default is cyan) download "TransTool"
from the tools page at http://go.to/WBStuff

boy, GreenReaper is really the one who should explain this...

The background isn't really transparent. It's a snapshot of your desktop background layed in to look as though it's transparent.

...but what do I know, I can't get it to work either...sorry.

Hmm, I tried that and it still isn't working.

I've got WinXP Pro SP1 if that is of any importance..
