Green Armani Green Armani

What's your Nick?

What's your Nick?

Alright, I've gotten quite a few people ask me why are you calling yourself Green_Armani. The answer is that I'm a Marine and being far from a corporate environment my old commanding officer would give us a pep talk at our weekly formations. He would talk about this and that, and he would always say "It's not easy to come to work and put on this green armani suit" The thing is, he wasn't talking about an expensive 3 peice suite, but rather our camaouflage uniform. So, having said all that I was really thinking hard for a good nick and it just hit me to use that. Anyone else wanna say how they came up with their nick? Come one what else do you have going on

Yup, I'm a Marine through and through (notice it's in cap's....future sarcastic reference) I find the time since I would often visit WC and wonder how everyone else did it. One day I decided I was going to try it and haven't looked back ever since. To be honest Marines aren't the brightest and even though I'm not a computer geek by a long shot I get called constantly on how to do this or that, how do I add myself to the network to get my emails....etc. So, I'm pretty inclined to computer stuff and this fits right in

I am the most clueless person on this site who knows anything about computers. My boyfriend likes to call me a geek cause I just sit in my chair and guard this msgboard nearly 24/7

Computers? What's that

I'll trade my computer for a good book any day, any takers???
well, I can't do that as I currently own a 2000 dollar PC system, and no book is worth quite that much

Besides, books are what libraries are for
Reply #135 Top
, now, wouldn't you need your computer for that?

As far as I know, Elfkura, i-Book is what Macintosh calls its latest notebook (laptop). hehe
Reply #137 Top
You'd be better off with a Powerbook anyway. Much nicer than the iBooks. ^_^
Reply #138 Top
oh, yeah, but I don't usually think with Macintosh in my mindframe

We have a winner here fellows!!!
Elfkura, buying an Apple with my own money, is one of the many dreams I have...

what winner?

I don't think many people who dabble a bit in Windows (I mean those who don't use Windows just for surfing) never fantasise about Macs or do not have Macs in their train of thoughts.

Why do you think that OS skins get so many downloads?

Alright my fellow skinners please check out my latest and tell me what you think. Moderators be gentle.... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/1380384

If you were watching Star Wars while making it I'd figure you were thinking 'droid' as in 'android'.
A 'druid' is one of those wackos who believe StoneHenge has a meaning. [it's just God's dominoes, that's all]...
