Fences and Windows 10

Clicking on desktop fails

Fences 2 installs as expected on my Windows 10m computer bu once it is in the background it won't reactivate with mouse clicks on the desktop. The mouse works as expected with other applications.
Any ideas how to make Fences work in my Windows 10 desktop?

Yes, I do; sorry, I didn't specify in my earlier post.

I can fleetingly see the Desktop when the screen switches to Windows 10 Start screen but I stymied at getting easy access the desktop a la Windows 8.1, Start8 and Fences.

Are you using the OS in tablet mode where the menu runs fullscreen?

Have you updated your video driver? Changed any Windows theme? Contacted support?

I have Windows 10 Pro (x64) and am successfully using Fences v2.13. I downloaded the latest version and before running the exe-file or installer I right clicked on it and selected properties. From the properties window I selected the Compatibility-tab and checked the box, 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' - Windows 8. I also checked the box - Run this program as an administrator. I then ran the installation leaving all the defaults in place.

I hope this helps...
