Fences Missing

Hello.

Yesterday I turned my computer on and discovered my fences and the icons inside them were gone.I am aware of the double-click function.The program was still installed because I could still access configure fences using right click. I uninstalled the software and my icons returned. Decided to reinstall fences and still have the same problem,no fences or icons other than the icons that were not in a fence.Double click works with the icons that weren't in a fence.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.Using two displays.The pc is a new build about a month old.

Any help would be nice.

I am having the exact same problem with fences 2.13 after a recent windows update, was about 2 weeks ago that it occurred after a reboot after patching.  Still no fences, and I can't find the resolution in the forums so far

I am having the same problem, also with fences 2.13, starting a few days ago (I think I patched my windows 8.1 a few days before the problem started; in other words, I don't remember there was an immediate cause and effect.  By right clicking my blank destop, my fences reappear.  Double clicking makes them disappear.


However, even though fences are showing when I restart or shutdown, they don't appear when Windows logs on the next time; so my config. with fences showing does not "stick."  

At least I can get my fences back with a right click but it is irritating to have to do this every restart, after I've been using fences without a hiccup for a long time.  Stelton

My fences have been fine after doing a system restore although something odd happened this morning.I installed a game while my fences were hidden.Once the game was installed I couldn't get my icons (the ones in fences) to show. I uninstalled the game and fences was back to normal.

So I installed the game again except this time with my icons visible.Fences works properly as it should.

So what I am wondering is if people are installing software while the fences are hidden?????Does this affect things?

Having them hidden while installing shouldn't have any affect on Fences. If you experience any further issues, I would suggest placing a ticket with us to assist.

Are you perhaps using the Pages feature within Fences?

For the past two week I've been having the same problem.  Almost every morning, most of my icons are gone.  It's very frustrating.

I don't even know how to use the Pages feature in Fences.

 

Please help.
