Weather Update Offer

Willing to update and convert your weather widgets to xWidget

If you have created weather widgets in the past and do not have any desire to update them to work I will do it for you in xwidget format. I cannot and will not do any that are not your own creations or that you do not have written permission to do so. xwidget has very good weather coding using accuweather or cnweather. I have never used cnweather but I do know that accuweather is great. With xWidgets coding you can create weather widgets with extensive weather info.Just about any information you want on the widget will be supported such as pressure, wind info, rain probability, hi/lo temp. feels like temp, visibility and humidity just to name a few. I have attached a photo of a conversion that I have done for my own use of the Vintage weather widget. It is not the same as the original because I skinned it to the way I wanted it. I will do yours the way you want it.

Just when it seemed that the fire for skinning such items had but all been extinguished, thank you JuniorCrooks.

I guess I could go and check for myself but what are some other things that xWidget can do?  :-"

You are welcome. xwidget can just about do anything you want. I have yet to see any limitations, perhaps there are but it is a very good program that will give you weather, calendar, system monitoring and even taskbar and start menu replacement, there has only been one skinner that has done a start menu so far but that is probably because xwidget is verily new and no one has asked for it. Think windows gadgets/yahoo widgets plus DX all rolled up in one package. If you go to that other site called deviantart there is a huge xwidget gallery.

Here is a shot of xwidget at work. It has a icon in system tray and when you click on it the bottom bar pops up much like what you find with a mac. The widgets you have installed are listed in this bar and are launched by clicking on them. The weather and calendar widget on the screen are what I created. It is actually one skin but when you click anywhere on the widget it flips, one side is the weather and the other the calendar. I just launched the widget twice for the sake of the shot.

By the way there is suppose to be a new and improved version of xwidget in the works with even more capabilities. I have not read about the changes but I was told by a fellow skinner it will be even better especially for skinning.
