Music Review: Kiesza "No Eniemsz"

Kiesza

No Eniemesz

Album: Hideaway

Year: 2014

Kiesza believes love she shares with her boyfriend could save the world in the                exuberant “No Eniemesz.”

Beaming synths open the single, setting an exulting tone. He leans in, kissing her neck. She moans, wrapping her arms around his neck. She whispers to him to keep going. She would go anywhere with him at this moment. She would stay here with him forever if she could. (“Don't stop me just give me more/You're what I want for sure/Don't stop I just want you more/Babe you're my only cure/Do something to make you mine/You could take all my time/Don't stop I feel so alive/Baby you blow my mind/Why stop when there's so much more?/Baby just show me how to/Look, I'll give you so much more/Or do you have it lining/You've never felt this before/Baby I know you want it/Everybody knows-body knows-body knows-body.”)

In the chorus, she says experiencing a love like hers could solve major problems in the world. People would be happy and get along. (“If we could all fall in love together/If we could all fall in love together/If we could all fall in love together/We'd have no enemies, we'd have no enemies/If we could all fall in love together/If we could all fall in love together/If we could all fall in love together/We'd have no enemies, we'd have no enemies.”)

In the bridge, she lays him down on the bed. She says it’s her to turn now. She’ll be sponteanous and he can move her at anytime. (“Lights up, let me take you down/That's what I want right now/Freestyle and make me go wild/Baby just turn me around/All that I can save for you/Show me what you can do/Don't stop me I can't refuse/Take me the whole way through.”)

The chorus is sung again to end the single.

Kiesza wishes people would let themselves a love like she has. Maybe the world wouldn’t be so negative. Despite its thin premise, Kiesza is able to make it be something more.

The vibrant   “No Eniemesz” is full of life.
