Enemy Using Anomalies for protection

Windows Version Number: 11
App Version: no app

It happens every few turns that I send a fleet to intercept an enemy fleet and my fleet cannot attack because the enemy happens to be sitting on an anomaly and my interceptors are not survey vessel. Regular ships cannot survey anomalies but I see no reason that they cannot fight on a hex that happens to have an anomaly. Ships can only wind up on an anomaly if they are traveling in a straight line to somewhere else and their stop for that turn happened to land on an anomaly.

The 2 options I see is either to set auto routing so that a combat ship cannot land on an anomaly even in passing, or allow combat ships to fight on hexagons with anomalies (they just cannot survey the anomaly).

End of KungStrategy's quote

Is that enemy the Xeloxi a(sp?) and are they the RED anomalies?

If yes those ships are the precursor guardians and live in those anamolies and are given to the Xeloxi because they are considered pirates,

The one reason I never have the Xeloxi in my games

No I am talking about white anomalies. They hide out on them preventing me from attaching them. I have never seen the fleet of an enemy I am at war with land on on a red or yellow anomaly. That means ships already have a function that prevents them from landing on yellow and red anomalies, so going one step further and preventing them from landing on white anomalies is feasible.
