partially enhanced item

partially enhanced items e.g. 2 slots available, only one used.  It would be really great if the icon was slightly different from a fully enhanced item.  Many times i only have one resource of something i really want for enhancement,  so i will use the one, equip the item and wait till i find the second.  E.g. i want +40 accuracy gloves but only have one +20 crystal.  Then when i get it i need to unequip stuff to find the one item with the free slot.  An easy solution might be to use a lighter or darker shade of blue on the item icon.   I know this is kind of a nit but it would be really helpful.
