  Could Stardock rescue me as you have done with my HP Scanjet 4890, as the above printer will not work in Windows 8.1?

I would contact Canon if you're having issues with their printer. That's not really our field of expertise. :)

I know it was a long shot. I have queried Canon and they said they do not have any software for this printer in Windows 8.1.
