Start8 Program Menu not showing all program folders

Hope this hasn't been asked and answered in another post, but I couldn't find it. The problem is that when I click the Start button and hover over All Programs that portion opens, but doesn't show all available programs, e.g. clicking on Microsoft Office 13 shows "Empty," yet all the Office modules are in Program Files (x86), under Microsoft Office (*) and work from there, all are currently activated (*Actually, I think that none of the programs I had added before or since the restore are being displayed, because I think that the folder in the Start8 menu is referring to the trial version of Office that came on the machine); also most program folders, i.e. Stardock, CCleaner, and many others are not listed at all, but all are in their respective folders and work from there perfectly. This problem occurred after resetting the computer to an earlier Restore Point, one I set myself because the computer was working perfectly at the time. I have tried everything I can find online to address this issue, including reinstalling Start8 and letting it update to the latest version, still all program folders are missing.

I am running Windows 8.1 Pro w/Media Center.
