I cant activate Decor 8 in Windows 8.1

from Stardock Forums

When I try to activate my Decor 8 the program launch a window with "product activation could not write the activation signature" please help.

I have not installed it anywhere else. Not understand WHAT is happening. Please reset the key for me to activate it. Only 12 days left before blocking it.

I can't activate either.  I'm getting error -212.
