Ship Movement / Right Mousebutton

Just a small question about ship moving and the right mouse button.

When I want to move a ship sometimes the ship moves directly to the hex where I click in with the right mouse button.

Sometimes the ship does not move and instead the path is drawn and the ships moves on the second right click.

So, what am I missing here and which behaviour for ship movement is intended?

Same question for me half the time they don't move at all or even show  the movement line I have to keep trying until it works

Left select ship

right select destination

right again change destination.

Does the ship have anymore turns left that round?
