Cannot Activate Start8

I have tried multiple times with multiple downloads and cannot activate Start8 with either my product key or my Stardock account option.  Have never had this problem with past versions.  Help?

I am not seeing any recent activation attempts listed for you. Do you have Start8 1.45 installed? If not, try signing in and downloading it from here. If the activation is not able to go through, you should be prompted to do an offline activation. More info on this here.

Thanks for the reply.  I did the "offline activation" using a flash drive, but I never left the PC that was denying conventional activation.  That worked for me.   Seems like a long way around to get a result.
