Registration error and now maximum activations reached?

Hi, I bought SoaSE at the steam sale very recently. I assumed there was an issue with the servers since stardock was barely functioning and I had trouble connecting to register. When it finally went through, I got a registration error. I checked back a few hours later and now that isn't an issue but it says I have reached my maximum activations. Is this a problem that will be fixed after some time or is it a problem on my end? I have never installed it prior although I did attempt to register it multiple times as I tried troubleshooting.

Added info - I cannot validate my email. It just responds error and doesn't name a reason,

If you email support@stardock.com they can reset your limit and help with any other issue.

First, we apologize for the issue and frustration...

For Rebellion HTTPSendRequest activation errors, open up Internet Explorer (any page is fine) and try activating again.

For those that have run into Max Activation as a result of repeated attempts after getting the error, please try again as that has been addressed as well.

I just tried it and still got max activations reached. I have a ticket for my registration error, should I got another for the activation error?

Yea none of that is working for me. I bought the game yesterday. Every time I tried to activate the game through steam it would just crash and give me an error. I tried to activate it through the website, but the site would crash as well. Now, today, I have activated the game through the website but when I attempt to play the game it still wants me to register it yet when I click register it says maximum activation's reached. How can the maximum activation's be reached when I have yet to activate it even once. I submitted a ticket last night, I don't expect it to have been answered already but i'm just saying that I am not happy about this situation.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money after the steam sale. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Since you let SoaSE go, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you hadn't, I would look for you, I would find you, and I would complain to you.
