Deskscapes 8 crashes Windows Explorer

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Deskscapes 8 hoping it would be able to play on my machine as the last iteration wouldn't either:

  • Alienware MX18 (so you know the graphics can handle this)
  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

However, every time I try and engage it, it freezes the computer and crashed Windows Explorer.  Can anyone please suggest any steps to correct this so I can get it to work?

Is this happening with any/all dreams that come with DeskScapes?

It's happening with all of the hybrid, dynamic and video ones.

Please download and run the following utility:

http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe
