Brad? Derek? Anyone? Anyone? Bueler? Bueler?

I hope the folks in Stardock are not still recovering from their holiday revels...

It's been quite a while since New Years and not a peep in the forums, not a word about a new patch...

Does anyone know if this is worrisome or just a natural hiatus before a storm of new updates?

It would of course be great to receive a reassuring reply by Brad, Derek, or somebody else at Stardock HQ :)

I hope this is not the case.

In short, if SD cannot commit to finishing LH, I cannot commit to purchasing GC3 until it is finished (IF it is finished).

I purchased LH early because of the enjoyment I had from MoM. Loyalty towards GC series is significantly less.

I really, really do appriciate SD's ability and willingness to continue communications with us laymen peasants. I don't think it's too much to ask to see if they are working on a LH 1.6 patch to fix those several new bugs that have emerged with the release of 1.5 (being unable to rotate structure placement and losing tamed beasts are two important examples...there are more, but I'm not going to turn this into a rant). In addition, LH is still not a polished product (AI upgrading outposts is a big one, but there are others. See my Gameplay comments thread for a myriad of examples). Dotting i's and crossing t's doesn't take too much time (I wouldn't think).

I also think it would be wonderful if SD was willing to incorporate some of the more successful mods into the game and tweak their balance to the way they want....ones that coincide with their vision of what LH was meant to be of course. Some examples of this could be: River Bridge, Death Adepts, Kingdom Bindings, Outpost Upgrades, and Unqiue Defenders.

Other mods are actaully fixes...these should definately be included imo: Maul Debuff Change, Wildland Boss Fix, Improved Undead.

Even taking a look as DSRaider's AIPlus mod would really go a long ways...

If we get another patch it is likely to be released at the same time as DLC. But I don't think either is likely to happen. We're 5 major patches in already. I'm pretty sure they've spent whatever resources they intend to spend, and changed whatever they intend to change.

If that's the case, is there a way to go back to version 1.4 on steam?

I was given no choice but to install 1.5 ... and I would like to rotate my building placements and do not want my tamed beasts disappearing on me all the time.

If that really were the case, even a "LOL thanks for the moneys, we're done" would be better than just up and abandoning the product without a word.

We've been quiet across the board--it's just a busy time. Brad and some others have been traveling a lot due to the various projects going on.

Brad still hasn't learned how to delegate authority? :)

The update is much appreciated. The tamed beasts disappearing is the most critical bug (it's been on the Steam forums as well), so I think it needs an urgent fix.
