End of quote
...no it isn't... The last of the female Munchkins ffrom the Wizard of Oz has died also. She was 95.  That leaves just one surviving actor who played a Munchkin.

2014 sure isn't getting off to a good start. :'(

Don't be sad. Celebrate. Celebrate the lives. These people brought so much joy to so many. The laughter they brought. What a gift. To be able to make so many laugh and forget their worries if just for a moment. I grieve the loss but I do it smiling at the antics, the facial expressions, the absurd situations.

You should go through the videos people have gathered and posted to youtube of the work these people did. Work done in a simpler time where jokes didn't have to be gross, dirty, or insulting to be funny. And comedy is so HARD to do well. These folks made it look so easy.

The fact that these folks were so good and made it look easy is a credit to them willing to learn their craft and stick with it.  Hard work is always required to achieve that kind of skill and success.

RIP, Dave... you and Danny Bonaduce made that show.

While on the Subject of the Partridge Family, hasn't David Cassidy fallen depreciably from grace....

Drink and drugs.... they've certainly taken their toll, haven't they. This mug shot was apparently taken at his last DUI

He looks nothing like the 70's hearthrob that once was, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see his name in a RIP thread sometime in the nearish future.

Age and life style has a way of catching up to all of us.   :-"

So true, so true!   I was on a path to self-destruction through drink, but I've been sober for nearly 12 years and have never looked back.  I shudder to think what things would be like now if I hadn't quit.  No doubt my health would be in a worse state, but more to the point, I doubt that the people in my life would be here now.

Can't do much about aging, but leading a cleaner life can help make it easier... and I've been off the smokes 4 years and 3 days, so I've taken a couple of positive steps.

Now all I gotta do is try and lose weight and push myself to exercise more.

I don't look like I did when I watched the show either...

It's always a shock when you see people photographed after a long while... they remain forever young in our minds.. until the jolt...

Yes, that is also so true, but generally speaking those hollywood types tend to age/fare better than that.  David Cassidy, well he looks like he's been dragged head first through a briar patch, then beaten around the jowls with an ugly stick.... such is the extreme difference.

That's what the voice in my head says every time I look in the mirror these days.

Yeah, but you made womens hearts pound for a completely different reason... for him was his looks back then.

For you.... well... fear comes to mind.  :w00t: :-"

Thing is, you're still game to look in the mirror.

Me... well, I worry about the consequences, so I've ceased and desisted from interludes with mirrors. :(O
