Objectdock 2 Plus - Dock changes are not being saved any more.

I have been happily using Objectdock 2 Plus since installing Windows 8 in February this year but Objectdock has suddenly stopped saving any changes to my docks (I have 2 tabbed docks, one with 5 tabs and the other with 2 tabs). Removing or adding icons can be done, but those changes have not been saved the next time Objectdock is loaded; Objectdock is failing to write the changes to CurrentTheme.ini (I have checked it's not read-only or anything).

I have uninstalled ObjectDock 2, wiped all related files, cleaned the registry and reinstalled it but it still won't save any dock changes to any CurrentTheme.ini file, not just mine.  I am completely stuck on what to do next.

Have any other Windows 8 (note - not 8.1) users experienced this and found a solution?

That is fairly unusual. This is happening even on a fresh install with any change you attempt to make to the dock? I was going to suggest making sure the files are not read only but you have already done so.
