Windows 8.1 problems (email app and full screen opening)

Running latest version on Windows 8.1 and have a couple off issues

First, after 1 day and a reboot everything went back to full screen even though I set all apps to come up in windows. I have reinstalled to cure the issue

Second, when a click the MAIL app (the standard one, which I have 5 accounts set up in) it opens 3 windows. It you close the two not required the next click on an account (from the list bottom left) it closes immediately.

Same issue here with Win8.1 RTM. Mail app in particular acts very strange.

It works fine if you open it in fullscreen mode, then F10.
