[Bug .85] Unable to select spell trait in levelup

Got a character to level up, wanted to give her Air3. Just like Adventurer's boon earlier in the game, I was unable to select it:

Usually if I am too low a level and thus cannot select a trait, it says "requires level x." So such message, and I am pretty sure this character was level 8 or 9, enough to get air3. 

I could be mistaken, but pretty sure this is a bug.

Just looking at the screenshot, it doesn't look like Air2 has been selected yet.

It had been. In the same game, I was denied upgrade to the next air spell trait level repeatedly. I've checked the level req, wasn't the issue.

According to the screenshot, Air 2 has not yet been selected as a trait.  If it had, the big line from 1 to 2 would be blue, instead of blank.  If you still think that's not the case, then upload the save.

Cannot find a save that backs this up. I have had multiple trait screen issues, including these (couldn't save these as I won the game right afterwards):

Blade Rush is not part of the life tree. Life Archmage is in the non-spell side of the General trait screen.

If I see another instance I will be sure to post a save.

Have you tried verifying integrity yet? Those screens are odd, haven't seen that myself. Had it been like that right from the start of that game?

No, appeared like that on the last levelup only. Whole game before that last levelup, the life tree had been normal.
