[.51][Tactical Combat Grid Bug]

I remember this happening in vanilla and it appears not to be fixed in the latest steam version of Legendary Heroes either. Sometimes when clicking on a grid to move in tactical combat, the system chooses the wrong grid (an adjacent one). It happened to me just now twice in a row in a tactical combat area of the Shroud, I held my mouse over a grid and it moved him to another one above it, which is very frustrating.

This usually also happens when fighting the giant elemental when you're on that narrow ledge, you have to hold your mouse at weird positions to highlight a particular grid.

Is this happening to everyone else or is this possibly related to my computer specs or something?

It's not just you.  It seems like the grid is slightly out of alignment from where you actually need to click to do the action you want to do.

Yep, I have noticed this as well.  It's much trickier moving the units on the tactical grid than it was in the non-LH version of FE.

I believe it's an issue with the grid not being mapped to the exact elevations of the terrain, which skews relative angles. You can somewhat mitigate this by altering camera angles to reduce the horizontal sheering factor.

I'm still seeing this issue as well.  I've actually seen it move 2 squares offset from the 'target' square once or twice, and a one square offset happens more often than I'd like.  This is REALLY anoying in combat.  I suppose I could think of this as 'miscommunication' of my orders, but that makes it seem even more like a cheezy kludge.

I generally go for an overhead view on the strategic map, so I don't see this issue usally in strategic, but I generally don't rotate the camera when in tactical, which perhaps I should do more often until this problem is resolved.

The other solution would be to have a checkbox in options that defaults the camera view to overhead instead of at the 45% offset angle.
