Bug: Charms Bar & Hot Corners become enabled after closing desktop app

I created a post on this a few days ago and want to make sure it doesn't get lost.  Here's the post:

"After closing a modern app from the desktop by clicking the 'X' in the upper right top border corner the charms bar and hot corners become enabled even though I have them disabled from Start8.  If I mouse click on the desktop after closing the modern app (clicking the 'X') the charms bar and hot corners are correctly not enabled, so for some reason ModernMix needs the cursor to click to desktop to keep the charms bar and hot corners from becoming enabled after closing a modern app.  This problem only occurs when closing a modern app from the 'X' on the top border - when closing an app via right clicking on the apps taskbar icon the charms bar and hot corners are not enabled."

To me this is an important issue - one of the reasons many of us use these Stardock products is to get control of Windows 8 from our desktops.  By enabling the charms bar and hot corners when closing a modern app from the desktop we get an unwanted intrusion of an unneeded Windows 8 "feature".

Thank you.

As it happens that wouldn't be a problem if you were using Start8.  I am curious what it is that Start8 doesn't offer?

Classic shell is not aware of ModernMix and so turns the charms bar back on as it is a modern app in the foreground.  The classic shell devs are free to contact us for technical information on how to correctly detect this case.

honestly.. its freeware.. (although ive donated  my fair share to the project)... i just have a moral stance against shareware/trialware/ and closed source... although, you guys gotta make a living...., and i will use payware when there is no other alternative that fulfills my needs

also as a semi-solution (and maybe a solution to the original posters problem)

Skip Metro Suitehttp://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.103

solves my problem (and probably his) however it probably disables hot-corners while in metro mode to

UPDATE: For whatever reason skip metro suite no longer works with the newest version (non-beta)...  Disabling hot corners would be a good feature for ModernMix even if its already a feature in Start8.. (plus you guys have already coded it, it wouldn't be to hard to port over) so this is now a feature request for me :P
