Start Menu: Recently vs. Frequently Used

I recall in Windows 7 and earlier that, after a while of opening various programs, the start menu would be populated with the most frequently used programs, as opposed to the most recently used ones. In Start8, it appears that recently used programs are used (e.g. when I open Skype just once, it appears on #4 of my start menu.) Could there be an option to have frequently used programs on the start menu instead of recently used? Thanks.

The list in Start8 is of most frequently used applications.

The order and what appears is determined by a number of factors including how often the app was launched, how recently it was launched, how many times the application has been switched to while running and how long it has had focus while running.

Interesting; thanks for your reply. Does it need more training then? I ran Visual Studio for no more than 20 minutes yesterday for the first time in months and it is now #3 on the start menu.
