Some Issues still in Start8 1.12

Start8 1.12 beta

In right to left windows :

1- Right click the Start button show the Start8 context menu in The left instead of right

2- Choosing to Show win+X when right clicking the stat button at the bottom of the screen doesn't bring up the win+X menu, but show the Start8 context menu.

3- Clicking dead link in the start menu doesn't have any effect but right click and choose open brings up the missing short cut target dialog.

4- Right click an empty area in all programs group still selects the top icon in the menu .

5- The UI of the configuration windows layout is left to right and suppose to be RTL.

I posted this just after 1.11 is released and waited for the new version and those issues are still there in v 1.12

Hoping to hear something from someone .

I can confirm item number 2 on my computer setup as well: Enabling the setting found under Advanced, "Show Win+X menu when right clicking the start button at the bottom of the screen" does nothing. I am running Start8 v.1.12 beta.

Laurence

Do you have a file called hlp.exe in your Start8 directory?

Also where did you install Start8?

 1- I don't have that file

 2- Start8 installed in this path: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Start8

Hi Neil,

I am running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit; and Start8 1.12 beta installed to its default installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start8 (I did not make any directory changes during installation.) And, no, there is not a hlp.exe file to be found in Start8's installation folder. And having also done a more thorough search, nor does there appear to a hlp.exe file to be found anywhere on my hard drive.

regards,

Laurence
