Tiles is thrashing my hard drive

first time I ever load it I can understand.  but it happens every time.  what's really odd is that my system HD is an SSD, with the old fashioned disk as my second drive...  :S

I see now is not just when I start Tiles, but every time I open the style tab.  Which is where you choose pictures for textures.  My Pictures folder is on the drive being thrashed.  Not enough room for all the pics on my sytem drive (SSD)

I'd really like to figure this out.... should I submit a ticket then?

Ticket submitted, response came... another limitation of the OS and no help. Tiles doesn't cache and that's that.

I'm trying hard to love stardock software but the general compatibility level with all my products (I bought the whole package) is far below what I've come to expect from commercial software.

I don't consider not running Tiles a fix for this problem.  and the thrashing is even worse now.  I even moved my pictures out of the stock windows location as I was told I had too many pictures.  Still happens.

Tiles is now uninstalled.
