I uninstalled decor8 since the updater wouldn't work, now my pc is very slow and unstable. Most programs won't work, the start menu wont function. My PC is basically broken. Is there any quick fix?
I am unclear on why you would uninstall because an updater didn't work?
If you mean the check for updates button didn't detect a new version thats because the version it checked was only updated on Wednesday afternoon.
Now onto your problem, uninstalling Decor8 should have no impact on any running programs. I would check to see if the Decor8 folder still exists. If it does still exist then delete the contents and reboot. If the files are in use and cannot be deleted, simply rename them, reboot and you will be able to delete.
If the folder is empty then Decor8 is not doing anything on your machine and it is unlikely Decor8 has anything to do with your problem.
Thanks Neil for the reply. It was a fresh install of Windows 8. It had no problems until uninstalling Decor8. I had deleted all Decor8 files but the PC still didn't work right. It's no problem though, I just did a restore to before installation of Decor8. I just wanted you to be aware that there is some form of bug there, the uninstall clearly did something to my system.
Decor8 is awesome though, it does exactly what I wanted it to do and seems to be completely unobtrusive, and I have already purchased it.
