Bug Start8 1.0.2 Shutdown not shutting down

I've set my power button to "shut down" in the configuration of start8.

For version 1.0.1 it worked nicely.

For 1.0.2 instead of shutting down the computer it just restarts it :annoyed:

Going back to 1.0.1 resolves the problem.

Hope this will be fixed in the next version.

Is your machine set to use the fast startup feature?  You can check this by going to control panel->power options then clicking on choose what the power buttons do in the left hand list and scrolling down to the shutdown settings.

If the setting is missing then it would be considered to be off.

Also what does it say on the screen after you click shutdown?  Does it say rebooting or shutting down?

I have checked 1.0.1 & 1.0.2. Looked at the power settings and it's configured to shutdown on the power button on both versions.

The display on the screen is "shutting down" even when it's actually rebooting.
