ConnectionExplorerTray odd behavior

I’ve been tracking down some unrelated process activity and noticed that ConnectionExplorerTray has been popping into my top 10 list every few minutes.  Normally this wouldn’t be very important but the file description isn’t properly annotated so it pops into the list with a blank process name.  This forced me to track it down by PID number to find out what it is.  But this also points at another mystery; why in the world would a background tray icon process be consuming CPU in the top 10?  Beats me!  None of the other 30 something background tray icons act this way.  Please note: this is occurring when the Connection Explorer application is NOT active (don’t know if is there when CE is running).  Not exactly a world class bug but an annoyance none the less.
