I was trying to load up Fallen Enchantress 0.951 just now and keep getting a message saying my login failed. I tried launching from command prompt with my username and password as the error message suggests and still its a no go. Are your servers down? Should I be able to launch without logging in?
If the servers are down you will not be able to play the beta. When the game hits retail you can play without connecting to them.
I am able to connect to the servers now and play so they appear to be up.
Thanks. I don't know why I suddenly can't connect. I have internet access etc. I am using the same account info I have used in the past. I will have to double check.
I just got the same problem after reading this. It must be the update to Contagion. 
It appears they found the problem. The DNS is malfunctioning and is being looked at.
Cari Elf is on the case and says things should be ready for more play in about an hour.
I get the same thing with Steam:
"Login failed. You may have missing or stale registry data. Try running Fallen Enchantress with the command line parameters /username "myusername" and /password "mypassword" (replacing the values in quotes with your actual username and password)."
I had this same problem after I updated. Using the /username and /password in my shortcut target line resolved the issue.
Voztron, I tried that but it still doesn't seem to work. can you show me what it looks like in the target path line?
The issue is now resolved for me. No problems at all logging in normally.
I think sometimes you need to start the game up a few times before you can log in currently.
I just added /username username /password password. I am at work at the moment so I can screenshot the target line.
If the severs are fixed try removing any changes you made to the target line.
I haven't made any changes and I still can't login so maybe it's on and off. I tried 3 times.
I'm with you Kobracan. I sent an email support ticket in.
tried rebooting and re-installing and that didn't work either.
Is there any status on when the servers might be up?
Well some folks seem to be able to log in and others unable to. I put "C:\gamepath.ext" /username "myusername" /password "mypassword" but still says I have login failure.
Just another reason I will never purchase a game that requires me to be logged into the internet to play. I will be glad when beta is over and I won't have to connect to play.
