Why some themes and packages said that were created with a newer version of desktop X?

I have version 1.0
Is there any other version?

DesktopX 1.1 is coming soon. No other version is available at this time, just the current release is available.

They are probably in refererence to the release candidates that are available on Object Desktop. Currently up to 1.1rc16. As was mentioned it should be finished soon.

crazy apps, people who buy an Object Desktop subscription have access to all the beta versions and realease candidates that are otherwise unavailable to the general public. The themes you're refering to were probably made by people who have purchased such a subscription.
