Vasari Loyalists Ridiculously overpowered (and minidump)

As things stand, stripped-to-the-core rush is the ultimate weapon in game, and ruins all the fun of playing anything else. Additionally, stability has decreased.

Personally, I think there are serious issues with the game as is.

Thanks for the kind words. Obviously, i like the vasa loyalists the most, and i dont really want them to be nerfed, but if they are indeed

Op, something needs to be done, but in a sensible way, which wont make their mobility completely unviable.  Oh, typinf from iphone in bus on a bumpy road is pain

Volt I think you are way too focused on the idea of "saving" a planet from being stripped, which I'm not sure is a realistic situation.  If you have just taken a planet close to the enemy with the purpose of stripping it your whole fleet will be there and any counter-offensive will be a massive undertaking.

However, if we are just trying to limit the ability to have huge resources in 15 minutes, simply lengthening the strip time to 2 or 3 minutes prevents ninja stripping with rebels present.  Also, moving the strip tech one or two slots deeper into the research tree makes it much more difficult to rush since, again, you are completely defenseless until you reach strip tech if you use this strat.  An additional idea could be to reduce planet health to 1 or 0 while you are stripping so even 1 shot from a siege weapon will kill the planet and stop the stripping.

Making stripping take 20 or 25 minutes to reach at the earliest and eliminating ninja-stripping as a method will achieve the goals of both removing it as an OP rush technique but still leave it as a viable play style.

It's very easy to go too far in nerfing something, small changes can have big effects.

I think strip to the core is a very useful tool. I disagree with you about that it is a great way to defend your terratory and a great defence against the great power of the Advents culture conquest.

OK, I'm going to spill the beans.  The counter is Culture!  If he can't colonize, he can't strip!

I like the idea of splitting the research for shipboard civilian and military labs.  Maybe have the research tree go

Level 3: Civilian Evacuations

Level 4: Shipboard Labs (Weapons only; one lab per ship)

Level 5: Mobile Rulership (Requires 4 levels of Titan Research, possibly a built Titan as well)

Level 6: Shipboard Labs (Weapons and Imperial; one lab per ship)

Level 7: Stripped to the Core

Level 8: Improved Research (Cap ships count as two labs).

Another thought: when stripping a planet, the planet's health could decrease as the stripping percentage increased.  When the planet is 90% stripped, a few siege frigates should be able to take it away and prevent it from exploding.  Investing in the "Siege facilities" upgrade would mitigate this partially, but not completely.

Except that he'd likely have access to culture centers as well as he is going full civ.

Yeah, but if you have a culture center in the well he is bombing out, or even nearby, its unlikely his culture will overwhelm yours.
