Goal: Capture Planet

So I started a game to try out the new "Capture Neutral Planet with Large Force" goal. If I recall correctly, you're supposed to hold it for a set amount of time to win? Well I captured it with the Loyalist Advent titan's level 6 ability, and instantly won. There were still enemies in the game (though the inhabitants had been cleared out from the planet itself), and I was declared winner the second I used the skill.

 

Is that normal, shouldn't I have to hold the planet for a certain period?

Thanks, was a little disappointed when I didn't have to defend it from some call-to-arms of AI, and wasn't sure if that was working-as-intended, or what.

Don't be too disappointed the AI doesn't really seem to care too much when you do take it.
