Crash

Sorry for not being a real forum junky as someone may have posted this, but my friend and I are both having this issue.

 

Ever since the last patch, we will play for a few minutes, maybe 1/2 hour and then just crashes. The whole app just closes. There is a minidump window that comes up, seems like part of steam and say a file was sent to the developers blah blah blah.

Windows 7 64bit , twin 4870 graphics cards in crossfire, quad core 9550, 8gb memory no issues with any other games, or before the patch (minus my capital ships disappearing lol)

 

Any help would be great.

if it always crashes on a save file, send the save file in to the devs. theres a sticky with info on the email address it should be sent too.

No sir, since the patch it actually crashes usually within 20 minutes of the game starting. Thing that gets me is that it just disappears, nothing of a warning like the infamous minidump you get one out of every 15 games. That one at least freezes to tell you something is up, ctrl-alt-del and you find the minidump window behind.

 

Deleted local content to "fix" files maybe, didn't work either.
